Common use of Decision of the Governing Board Clause in Contracts

Decision of the Governing Board. 21 The Hearing may be continued from one meeting to the next, and at the end of such presentation, the 22 Governing Board may take the evidence under consideration for a reasonable period of time before 23 announcing its decision in the matter. The decision of the Governing Board shall include express findings on 24 the charges upon which the disciplinary action is based and may wholly reverse or affirm the disciplinary 25 action imposed by the Superintendent/President or modify the severity of same.
