Common use of Declaration of Redundancy Clause in Contracts

Declaration of Redundancy. 13.05.01 Redundancy occurs when the full-time equivalent number of Members in the elementary panel exceeds the full-time equivalent number of teaching positions for the next school year, as determined by the application of the staffing provisions (Article 20) of this Agreement. 13.05.02 Reductions in staff due to redundancy shall start at the bottom of the Seniority List with the least senior Member and proceed up the ranked list, subject to program need as per 13.01.06.
