Deepen relations with major trading partners i. The American Chamber of Commerce stated in its 2009 Taiwan White Paper, “the conclusion of this trade agreement with China would pave the way for Taiwan to participate in regional trade blocs and enter into bilateral FTAs with additional trading partners.” ii. The Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry in its 2009 Taiwan White Paper Issue affirmed, “If the ECFA comes into being, it should form a great opportunity for Taiwan and Japan to discuss signing an FTA. Therefore, this Chamber sincerely looks forward to progress being made in the ECFA negotiations.” iii. The European Chamber of Commerce expressed the following opinions in its 2009-2010 Position Paper Overview : ⮚ “The sooner Taiwan signs the ECFA with China, the quicker political impediments to other countries (including the EU) sig ning economic agreements with Taiwan will be removed.” ⮚ “In order to revitalize Taiwan’s economy and increase trade, the ECCT recommends that the government seek to sign an Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA) with China and commit to Trade Enhancement measures with Europe as soon as possible. This will help to secure Taiwan’s position as an important link between China and Europe and reintegrate Taiwan into the global and regional economy.”

  • Solution The Supplier’s contractually committed technical approach for solving an information technology business objective and associated Requirements as defined and authorized by the scope of the Contract or any order or Statement of Work issued under the Contract.   • Crane Erection & Jumping (a) Cranes and man/material hoists may be erected, altered, climbed and dismantled during times when ordinary production works are in progress subject to the work being done in full compliance with a relevant operational safety zone (OSZ) plan which has been developed specifically for that operation with consideration to overall site safety. (b) The crane crew for each tower crane (Crane Crew) must consist of the following: (i) crane driver; and (ii) three (3) dogmen. (c) In addition to the appropriate tickets held by the crane driver and the dogmen, the following high risk licences must be held amongst the Crane Crew: (i) rigging; and (ii) material handling. (d) Where a Project consists of a single Crane Crew, the Employer should endeavour to ensure another member of the Crane Crew holds a crane driver licence.

  • Screening The Health Plan must work with contracted providers to conduct interperiodic EPSDT screens on RIte Care and all ACA Adult Expansion Population members under age 21 (i.e. 19 and 20-year old under this Agreement) to identify health and developmental problems in conformance with ATTACHMENT ED to this Agreement. Additional screens should be provided as Medically Necessary. At a minimum, these screens must include: • A comprehensive health and developmental history, including health education, nutrition assessment, immunization history, and developmental assessment • Immunizations according to the Rhode Island EPSDT Periodicity Schedule • An unclothed physical examination • Laboratory tests including lead, TB, and newborn screenings as medically indicated • Vision testing • Hearing testing • Dental screening oral examination by PCP as part of a comprehensive examination required before age one (1) • All other medically indicated screening services • And provide EOHHS with a list of established CPT/HCPC codes used to identify all billable services included in the EPSDT schedule.

  • Random Testing Notwithstanding any provisions of the Collective Agreement or any special agreements appended thereto, section 4.6 of the Canadian Model will not be applied by agreement. If applied to a worker dispatched by the Union, it will be applied or deemed to be applied unilaterally by the Employer. The Union retains the right to grieve the legality of any imposition of random testing in accordance with the Grievance Procedure set out in this Collective Agreement.
