Common use of Deferred Salary Scheme Clause in Contracts

Deferred Salary Scheme. 19.1 TAFE Managers may seek to join the Employer’s deferred salary scheme. 19.2 Successful applicants may defer twenty per cent of their salary for the first four years and be paid the deferred salary in the fifth year. 19.3 The deferred salary scheme does not apply to temporary TAFE Managers. 19.4 TAFE Managers employed on a specified term contract may apply to join the Employer’s deferred salary scheme subject to approval from the General Manager and provided that the remaining contracted period would allow effective operation of the salary deferral scheme.
