Common use of DEFINED TERMS AND HEADINGS Clause in Contracts

DEFINED TERMS AND HEADINGS. The words “Landlord” and “Tenant” as used herein shall include the plural as well as the singular. Words used in masculine gender include the feminine and neuter, where applicable. If there is more than one Tenant, the obligations imposed under this Lease upon Tenant shall be joint and several. The headings and titles to the paragraphs of this Lease are used for convenience only and shall have no effect upon the construction or interpretation of the Lease. No party other than Landlord and Tenant and their successors and assigns shall be entitled to the benefits of this Lease: there are no third party beneficiaries to this Lease.
