Common use of Description of Appropriate Unit Clause in Contracts

Description of Appropriate Unit. For Purposes of this Agreement, the term custodial, maintenance and grounds employees shall mean all persons in the appropriate unit employed by the School Board in such classifications, excluding the following Confidential employees, supervisory employees, essential employees, part-time employees whose services do not exceed 14 hours per week, and employees who hold positions of a temporary or seasonal character for a period not in excess of 67 working days in a calendar year, and emergency employees.
