DESIGN PROCEDURES. Asphalt mixes to be designed in co-ordination with an approved (by the Employer’s Agent) specialist professional asphalt design engineer and laboratory and submitted to the Employer’s Agent for approval. The design laboratory and specialist asphalt design engineer shall be paid under a Provisional Sum item provided in the Bill of Quantities. Fundamental design principals and methods (see applicable ▇▇▇▇▇▇, and other applicable institutions, manuals and guidelines) to be utilized to ensure optimal mixes in accordance with the specified performance criteria.

All design drawings submitted by the Tenant to the DIA shall be provided in the latest release of AutoCAD format in accordance with the DIA's Design Standards Manual. Concession CADD Submittal Requirements: AutoCAD 2007 .dwg format CADD files that match the Tenant’s hardcopy drawings must be submitted via: CD/ROM or DVD/ROM in MS-Windows format. All drawings must represent precision input and follow industry standard CADD practices. The drawings must reflect true design dimensioning and must NOT be graphic representations of the design. All site, civil and utility drawings MUST be produced using units in feet and the DIA Grid Coordinate System. The DIA Project Manager must approve submittal and may require adherence to the requirements set forth in DIA design standards. In addition to the above, Tenant is responsible for coordination with the Denver Building Inspection Division, Zoning, Fire Department, Wastewater Management, Consumer Protection, Health and Hospitals, etc. as may be required to comply with submittal, review and approval requirements in order to obtain all required permits. DESIGN PROCEDURES. SEEHOA aims to maintain a high standard of landscape design. The following procedure for the design and creation of gardens must be strictly adhered to. This will safeguard the interests of the homeowners and entrench the above principles.
DESIGN PROCEDURES. Manual 1 of the TDGs and the Concessionaire Development Standards govern the procedures and requirements regarding design, including design process and schedule, submittal requirements, review and approval process, design modifications, and project coordination. As soon as practical, Concessionaire shall attend a pre-design meeting with the Airport’s concessions management team. Thereafter, on or before the Preliminary Design Due Date, Concessionaire shall prepare and submit for the City’s review the preliminary design package (“DRC Package”). The DRC Package consists of three (3) photo quality renderings that clearly depict the proposed design concept in context with the surrounding area. The renderings depict the space approximately six feet (6’) beyond the demising walls and include merchandising on the shelves and people in the space. In addition, one material sample board, floor plan, and reflected ceiling plan are necessary to provide a complete understanding of the space. An electronic copy of the fully complete plans and specifications for all work, facilities, improvements, and a schedule of the time required to complete same shall be submitted to the Designated Project Manager for review and written approval. A copy of the plans and specifications shall be separately submitted to the City's Building Inspection Division and Fire Department. Prior to submission of DRC Package, Concessionaire should carefully review the Tenant Design Guidelines and DIA Concession Design Standards. The City reserves the right to promptly reject any submission that is not in material compliance with the foregoing. 1. An electronic copy of the Approved drawings and specifications; 2. DESIGN PROCEDURES. For all Superpave and 4.75 mm mixes, ensure conformance with the Superpave System for Volumetric Design (AASHTO T 312 and AASHTO R30), as adapted in SOP-2. Ensure Superpave mixes are designed at a design gyration number (Ndes) of 65 gyrations and initial gyration number (Nini) of 6 gyrations. Ensure 4.75 mm mixes, (Ndes) are designed at 50 gyrations, and (Nini) at 6 gyrations. Open-graded mix designs will be designed by the Department in accordance with GDT 114. In all cases, the procedure for measuring Maximum Specific Gravity (Gmm) is AASHTO T 209. In addition to gradation and volumetric analysis, ensure mix designs include the following performance tests, as applicable.

  • Safety Procedures The Contractor shall: (a) comply with all applicable safety regulations according to Attachment H; (b) take care for the safety of all persons entitled to be on the Site; (c) use reasonable efforts to keep the Site and Works clear of unnecessary obstruction so as to avoid danger to these persons; (d) provide fencing, lighting, guarding and watching of the Works until completion and taking over under clause 10 [Employer's Taking Over]; and (e) provide any Temporary Works (including roadways, footways, guards and fences) which may be necessary, because of the execution of the Works, for the use and protection of the public and of owners and occupiers of adjacent land.
