Common use of DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DELAY Clause in Contracts

DESIGN PROFESSIONAL DELAY. The Design Professional shall notify the Owner in writing within three days of the occurrence, or earlier if required by the Contract Documents, of any interruption that causes a delay in the Design Professional’s performance of the Services. No extension of the Design Professional’s completion date shall be permitted unless approved in writing by the Owner. Any premium time to complete the Services shall not be charged to the Owner unless specifically authorized in writing by the Owner.
