Design Rules and Probe Layouts. The following illustrations define typical layouts that are referred to in Table 1. These layouts are based primarily on current experiences and * * * designs. Multiple repetitions of the same pattern (A, B, C, D) in a layout is acceptable. Repetition of a pattern is defined as translation of the pattern to another area of the array. Rotation of a pattern creates a new pattern (ex. pattern C translated and rotated by 45 degrees creates a new pattern). Probe Density Rules must be met.
