Design Warranty Period Clause Samples

The Design Warranty Period clause establishes a specific timeframe during which the party responsible for the design guarantees that their work will meet agreed-upon standards and remain free from defects. Typically, this period begins upon completion or acceptance of the design and may last for a set number of years, during which any design flaws or failures discovered must be remedied by the designer at no additional cost. The core function of this clause is to protect the client by ensuring accountability for design quality and providing a clear mechanism for addressing defects that arise after project completion.
