Designated Holiday Clause Samples
A Designated Holiday clause defines specific days that are recognized as official holidays under the terms of an agreement or policy. This clause typically lists the holidays by name or date, and may outline how work, pay, or obligations are affected if they fall on these days. For example, it might state that employees are not required to work or will receive additional compensation if they do. The core function of this clause is to provide clarity and consistency regarding time off and related entitlements, thereby preventing disputes about holiday recognition and associated benefits.
