Common use of Designated Union Representatives Clause in Contracts

Designated Union Representatives. Management shall recognize employees designated by the Union as workplace leaders to adjust grievances, process disciplinary appeals, and for meetings with a grievant or with Management, and to attend to other matters related to the administration of this Agreement when authorized by the Union to do so. The Union shall notify the Director of Employee Engagement & Labor Relations or designee of the names of the workplace leaders who are authorized by the Union as representatives and shall notify the Director of Employee Engagement & Labor Relations or designee within five (5) working days of any change in the representatives. With prior notification to the Director of Employee Engagement & Labor Relations or designee, the Union representative may be present on College property to attend to matters related to the administration of this Agreement.
