Common use of Designation of Accounts Clause in Contracts

Designation of Accounts. (i) The Custodian shall establish and maintain a separate Cash Account and Custody Account for each Portfolio and shall credit the applicable Cash Account or Custody Account of each Portfolio with all Securities or Cash, as applicable, received by it for the account of such Portfolio and shall charge such Cash Account or Custody Account with the liabilities of such Portfolio. (ii) Each Custody Account will be in the name of the Client, on behalf of a particular Portfolio, or such other name as the Client may reasonably designate and will indicate that Securities do not belong to the Custodian and are segregated from the Custodian’s assets. (iii) Each Cash Account will be in the name of the Client, on behalf of a particular Portfolio, or such other name as the Client may reasonably designate.
