Common use of Designation of Subsidiaries as Account Parties Clause in Contracts

Designation of Subsidiaries as Account Parties. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary set forth in this Agreement, including without limitation Section 2.04(a), a U.S. Letter of Credit issued hereunder shall, upon the request of the U.S. Borrower, be issued for the account of any Subsidiary of the U.S. Borrower, provided that notwithstanding such request, the U.S. Borrower shall be the actual account party for all purposes of this Agreement for such U.S. Letter of Credit, and such request shall not affect the U.S. Borrower’s reimbursement obligations hereunder with respect to such U.S. Letter of Credit.
