Determination of Appropriate Unit. As soon as practicable following Written Notification, the parties will meet to attempt to reach an agreement on the unit appropriate for bargaining. In the event that the parties are unable to agree on an appropriate unit, either party may refer the matter to the Dispute Resolution Procedure contained in Paragraph 7 below. In resolving any dispute over the scope of the unit, the arbitrator shall apply the principles used by the National Labor Relations Board.
