Common use of Determination of Reviewing IRB Clause in Contracts

Determination of Reviewing IRB. a) The Reviewing IRB is determined by the primary institutional affiliation of the faculty mentor responsible for oversight of the proposed research with one exception: the UCSD IRB will be the Reviewing IRB for all eligible studies that involve the UCSD MRI facility, ▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Cancer Center, and/or Rady Children’s Hospital.

Determination of Reviewing IRB. a) The Reviewing IRB is determined by the primary institutional affiliation of the faculty mentor responsible for oversight of the proposed research with one exception: consideration of the following: a) Projects that use the UCSD IRB will be the Reviewing IRB for all eligible studies that involve the facilities including UCSD Medical Center, UCSD MRI facility, and ▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Cancer Center, and/or or Rady Children’s HospitalHospital will be reviewed by UCSD. b) Research that involves the Center for Children and Families will be reviewed by CSUSM.
