DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION. Recognizing that strong leadership is essential to the success of the Schools, the CWC Network will provide direct and indirect support in the development and evaluation of leadership. For example, the CWC Network: • Supports the Schools in leveraging talent across and beyond the CWC Network. • Supports, coaches and develops key Licensee leadership talent, including its Board of Directors, Executive Directors and School Principals. For example: o The CWC Network will provide ongoing principal support and feedback and leverage resources inside and outside of the CWC Network to support principals in achieving their Schools’ missions. o The CWC Network Liaison will provide support to the board in Executive Director management. • Designs and creates templates and models for individual and collective evaluation at school sites. These evaluations will be designed intentionally to align tightly with the CWC Network’s mission and instructional and philosophical approach. o Designs and provides templates for Executive Director, Principal and teacher evaluations with examples of effective implementation. o Develops and implements multi-day school evaluations. The evaluation process will focus on quality of outcomes and fulfillment of the mission and the CWC Network Fundamentals. These reviews will provide feedback to School leaders that they may use in making programmatic decisions. In addition, this process will identify promising practices to share across the CWC Network. • Facilitates access to network of principals and Executive Directors across the CWC Network.
