Common use of Digital Photography Package Clause in Contracts

Digital Photography Package. Prior to project implementation, the Subgrantee shall prepare a digital photography package for an individual historic property illustrating the principal façade, an oblique view, two contextual views, and close-ups of any unique architectural features. The package to be submitted to the SHPO shall include printed copies of the digital photographs, a CD/DVD of the digital photographs, a completed state architectural inventory form, and a brief history of the historic property not to exceed two (2) pages. In addition to submittal to the SHPO, the Subgrantee shall submit a copy of this documentation to either a local historical society archive or local library for its retention. The Subgrantee will use staff or contractors that meet the Secretary’s Professional Qualifications for the appropriate discipline. The digital photography package will meet the standards cited in the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places Photographic Policy March 2008 or subsequent revisions. Specific standards include: a. Images saved as uncompressed Tagged Image File Format (TIF) files at a size of 1600x1200 pixels at 300 pixels per inch (ppi) or larger on CD/DVD media. b. Paper prints of each digital photography per the "Acceptable Ink and Paper Combinations for Digital Images" guidelines in the Photo Expansion Policy. c. Context information for each photograph including: name of property, name of historic district, if applicable, name of city and county, date, name of photographer, and description of view including the direction of the camera.
