Directed Studies. 18.9.1 Adjunct professors shall be compensated for assigned teaching of a Directed Study at the rate of 1/12 x per unit pay rate x units. 18.9.2 No individual adjunct shall be required to teach a Directed Study. If no adjunct faculty accepts the assignment, the University can assign the Directed Study to another adjunct. 18.9.3 Each semester, the University will provide a list of all Directed Studies to the PTFA. The list shall include instructor names and department. 18.9.4 Directed Studies are not counted towards PHP eligibility.
