Common use of Disability Pay Clause in Contracts

Disability Pay. A. If a permanent employee is ill or injured and unable to perform his/her job, then he/she may be eligible for disability pay. The following conditions shall apply. 1. The employee must provide a physician statement which verifies the illness/injury and which indicates that the employee is unable to work. The CCBDD shall have the option of having the employee examined by a CCBDD physician at no expense to the employee. The decision of the CCBDD physician, if medical opinions differ, shall be final. 2.
