Disability Pay. 44.1 After any sick leave under ARTICLE 47 is exhausted, the Employer agrees to continue to pay wages to a Full-time Regular, Full-time Seasonal Employee or Part-time Seasonal Employee for two (2) weeks of absence from work due to illness or accident as follows: (a) sixty percent (60%) of wages up to the current federal employment insurance maximum; (b) the benefit will be payable for the first day of accident or fourth working day of illness; (c) in the case of an Employee who works varied hours, wages will be calculated as the average of the Employee's earnings (exclusive of overtime) for the four (4) week period immediately preceding the day the Employee was absent; (d) the Employer is entitled to require a doctor's certificate as proof of such sickness or accident.

(d) the Employer is entitled to require a doctor's ’s certificate as proof of such sickness or accident.
