Common use of Disabled Employee Clause in Contracts

Disabled Employee. An employee who becomes eligible for long term disability shall retain such benefits as are provided by the carrier, and the District shall make normal contractual contributions for health and accident insurance for the period of three years from the time they qualify for LTD benefits. When a districtwide administrator becomes eligible for long-term disability benefits (31st day of disability), vacation, personal days, sick leave, bereavement, and family illness leave shall be pro-rated based upon time worked.
