Common use of Disclosure of CDI Clause in Contracts

Disclosure of CDI. Contractor shall not copy, report or release CDI or information concerning the University or its students, employees or customers to third parties except when essential for authorized use under this Contract and then only with University’s prior written approval and only where the third parties sign agreements containing substantially the same provisions as contained in this section. Any such report or release of information shall, at a minimum, comply with those requirements enumerated in the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act (15 U.S.C. §6801 et seq.), the Family and Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (20 U.S.C. §1232g), and applicable University or Board of Governors policies or standards for safeguarding such information, and all other applicable laws regarding consumer privacy and confidential information. The Contractor agrees not to use CDI for any purpose other than the purpose for which the disclosure was made.
