Common use of Discussion with Supervisor Clause in Contracts

Discussion with Supervisor. No employee shall have a grievance until he has discussed his complaint with his immediate supervisor. The immediate supervisor will respond to the employee within one working day from such discussion. If the immediate supervisor does not settle the matter to the employee’s satisfaction, the employee’s grievance may be submitted to Step No. 1 of the grievance procedure.
