Common use of Dismissal Time Clause in Contracts

Dismissal Time. a. Teachers assigned to the Maroa-Forsyth Grade School will be allowed to report to work at 8:10 on Friday’s and on days preceding holidays or vacations due to the staggered start times, provided there are no meetings scheduled. b. On Fridays and on days preceding holidays or vacations, teachers shall be permitted to leave at the end of the pupil's day after the last bus has departed, provided there are no meetings scheduled. c. On days in which evening parent teacher conferences are held, teachers will be dismissed when the minimum of five (5) hours of required student contact time has been achieved. d. Students will be dismissed at 2:03/2:13 3 times per semester for curriculum development work.

An ad hoc committee consisting of 1 board member, 2 administrators, and a teacher from each building shall be created in the 2016- 2017 school year to study options to increase school improvement planning days.
