Common use of Division Special Team Time Commitment Clause in Contracts

Division Special Team Time Commitment. ‌ Any member who wishes to drop their special team assignment may submit a request to the Fire Chief to drop that assignment in September before the year that they wish to drop. (Example: month of September 2021 with a stop date of January 1st, 2022). Team members must have a minimum of 10 years of service on the team or have a medical condition that prevents them from performing on the team, as verified by the District’s physician, to have the ability to drop from the team. The Chief may require that one person (or more, if required by the District’s mutual aid agreements) maintain their special team assignment.
