Common use of DMV Only Clause in Contracts

DMV Only. (a) The Union will determine the number of stewards and distribution of stewards as long as the total number of stewards in any one work unit, based on direct supervisor of the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, does not exceed one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or twenty percent (20%) of the permanent employees (which does not include seasonal or limited duration) assigned to that work unit, whichever is greater. However, field office locations with fewer than five (5) permanent employees are limited to one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. (b) Only one (1) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ from any one work unit will be permitted to perform ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ duties on paid status at any one time. (c) If the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the employee they are representing are not assigned to the same reporting station, travel time is not state paid time unless a lead investigator or appointing authority is attending the meeting in person with the employee. In these circumstances the Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ who is located closest to the employee’s worksite shall represent the employee unless a different Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ is mutually agreed to with management.
