DOA Products Clause Samples

The "DOA Products" clause defines the procedures and responsibilities related to products that are deemed "Dead on Arrival"—meaning they are found to be non-functional or defective immediately upon delivery to the buyer. Typically, this clause outlines the timeframe within which the buyer must report such issues, the process for returning or replacing the defective items, and any documentation required to support the claim. Its core practical function is to ensure that buyers are protected against receiving unusable goods and to establish a clear, fair process for remedying such situations, thereby minimizing disputes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
