Documents Retention and Inspection Clause. The Contractor and subcontractors shall retain and maintain all records and documents relating to this Contract for a period of ten (10) years after final payment by the State hereunder or any applicable statute of limitations or federal retention requirements, whichever is longer, and shall make them available for inspection and audit by authorized representatives of the State, including the Procurement Officer or designee, at all reasonable times. All records related in any way to the Contract are to be retained for the entire time provided under this section. In the event of any audit, the Contractor shall provide assistance to the State, without additional compensation, to identify, investigate, and reconcile any audit discrepancies and/or variances. This Section 24 shall survive expiration or termination of the Contract.
