Draft Closing Statement Sample Clauses
The Draft Closing Statement clause outlines the requirement for preparing a preliminary summary of all financial transactions and adjustments to be made at the closing of a deal. Typically, this document is prepared and circulated to the parties involved prior to the closing date, detailing items such as purchase price adjustments, prorations, and any outstanding obligations. Its core practical function is to ensure that all parties have a clear, agreed-upon understanding of the financial aspects of the transaction before finalizing, thereby reducing the risk of disputes or misunderstandings at closing.
