Drawing Requirements. All drawings bear accepted contract references using a project title block which is accepted by the Employer. Detailed revision blocks and drawing numbers are suffixed accordingly. All drawings, particularly layout drawings, submitted for acceptance are to a scale acceptable to the Employer. All drawings are made to scale and fully detailed and dimensioned. All dimensions marked on the drawings are to be considered correct, although measurements by scale may differ therefrom. The material from which each part is to be made shall be indicated. The drawings include tolerances for manufacture and installation. The tolerances are suitable and of sufficient accuracy to provide safe and trouble free construction and operation over the life of the component. All copies of drawings submitted to the Employer are provided in the form of 4 prints on white paper with black lines. The drawing size is A3 unless the use of another size is unavoidable. All native electronic format documents are also provided. All drawings are dimensioned in metric units unless the use of another unit is required and/or recommended, e.g. imperial sizes for flange holes, studs, etc. Where applicable, drawings show a graphic scale key plan and north arrow. Dates on drawings are reflected in the following format: dd/mmm/ccyy. Revisions are designated RO, RI, R2, R3, etc., commencing with the first issue. All revisions are clearly described in the revision column bearing the revision number. All drawings additionally comply with the latest revision of the ACSA Cad Specification and Good Practice Guideline.
Drawing Requirements. (a) The documents prepared during the Construction Documents Phase shall set forth the requirements for construction of the Project to a level of detail that is customary and standard and shall include, but not be limited to: 1. General information showing drawing index, symbols, abbreviations, notes, locations map. 2. Site drawings shall be complete to define the extent and detail of site work. Show the following: a. Layout and location of all proposed work including buildings, structures, retaining walls, parking, walls, geothermal ▇▇▇▇▇, and all other site improvements, with details. b. Contract Limit Line and Storage Area for construction materials. c. All existing foundations, obstructions, and other physical characteristics of the site which may affect the construction work. 3. Demolition drawings and temporary work required.
Drawing Requirements. 2.4.1 Drawing sheets shall be trim size 24 x 36 with left binding edge and borders. 2.4.2 Use scale 1 inch = 40 feet unless otherwise authorized by the Owner. Include graphic scale. 2.4.3 Show NORTH arrow and locate North at the top of the sheet, or locate the front of the campus at the bottom of the sheet, to be determined on a per project basis. 2.4.4 Include legend of symbols and abbreviations used on the drawings(s). 2.4.5 Spot elevations on paving or other hard surfaces shall be to the nearest .05' (or 1/2"), on other surfaces to the nearest .10' (or 1"). 2.4.6 Boundary and topographic information, where both are required, shall be on the same drawing unless otherwise requested by the Owner. 2.4.7 State elevation datum on each drawing. Give location of benchmark used. 2.4.8 Furnish to the Owner one reproducible transparency and prints of each drawing. The Licensed Land Surveyor shall sign and seal each drawing and shall certify that to the best of the Land Surveyor's knowledge, information and belief all information thereon is true and accurately shown. 2.4.9 Furnish to the owner’s representative an electronic data file for all drawing files and information in .DWG file format. All information shown on the sealed drawing submitted to owner shall be included on electronic file.
Drawing Requirements. In addition to providing hard copies, the Consultant shall provide all Drawings in Adobe PDFs and AutoCAD Release 2017 format. AutoCAD drawings shall follow the MEARNG A/E/C Standards package provided by MEARNG Project Manager. Any additions or modifications must be approved by the MEARNG Project Manager. Drawings shall be delivered as stand-alone without X-references. If the Drawing originally had X-references, Bind them using the Insert option and do not explode inserted block.

(b) Site drawings shall be complete to define the extent and detail of site work. Show the following: i. Layout and location of all proposed work including buildings, structures, retaining walls, parking, walls and all other site improvements, with details; ii. Existing and proposed grades and contours including floor elevations, existing structures and topography, survey base line, bench marks and boring locations; iii. Landscaping and planting; iv. All utility service lines, systems and structures for electricity, gas, oil, water, steam, telephone, CATV, fire alarm, sanitary and storm drainage including size, composition, grades and directions of flow; v. Contract Limit Line and Storage Area for construction materials; vi. All existing foundations, obstructions and other physical characteristics of the site which may affect the construction work; ▇▇▇. ▇▇▇▇ survey; viii. Cuts of benches, light standards; ix. Demolition drawings and temporary work required. (c) Architectural drawings shall include at a minimum: i. Floor plans of each floor, including basement and lofts or attic with room and corridor dimensions, wall thicknesses, column locations, floor elevations, mechanical and electrical openings, door and window designations, partition types, floor materials, built in furniture and equipment, keyed to other architectural drawings. All rooms numbered; ii. Large scale floor plans where required to illustrate detailed requirements of rooms; iii. Large scale plans showing key areas e.g. lobby, special spaces. Indicate surface materials (minimum scale ¼” = 1’- 0”); iv. Roof plans showing openings, drainage, slopes, expansion joints, and all projections, including equipment; v. Key plans on all floor plans and section drawings, where appropriate; vi. Building Sections as required to show spatial organization of building but no less than one longitudinal and one transverse;
Drawing Requirements. The following drawing information is required on all plans submitted for Pool Enclosure Permits: 1. Limits of property with property lines and existing buildings. 2. Location of the pool, hot tub or pond. 3. The pool enclosure showing fencing type and height and to include all self-closing, lockable gates and access points from all buildings. 4. All new sheds, cabanas, structures, pool equipment etc. 5. All setbacks (distance from proposed works to property lines) are to be shown. 6. Any easements are to be shown. 7. Existing catchbasins on the property. 8. Pool sump pump and discharge point, if required (out front of the house towards the roadway). Note: The pump is to be sized to discharge the distance indicated on the plan. 9. Existing and Proposed drainage patterns, ▇▇▇▇▇▇, grades and stormwater discharge point. 10. All grades are to be referenced back to the Door Sill (Elevation of 100.00) 11. Downspout locations and point of discharge are to be identified. 12. All landscaping beds, patio areas, concrete, retaining walls, etc., are to be shown with setback distances. 13. Location of construction access to the rear of the property. 14. All Tree Protection Zones (TPZ)
Drawing Requirements. 1) Where there is a requirement for the Contractor to undertake CAD work, then this shall be agreed in the task order where the Contractor has compliant CAD capability. 2) If included within a Task Order, all CAD data, created or generated by the Contractor must comply with LU Category 1 Standard S1037 Computer Aided Design (CAD) Data. This requires: • CAD data created by, or supplied to the Employer is in the v8 DGN file format; • the engineering content of the CAD data, is managed within the Employer’s CAD data management system called Bentley Projectwise; • data shall be created using Bentley applications to ensure the integrity of the file Microstation v8i or the version currently in use by the Employer; • all spatial data within the CAD Models is drawn to the London Survey Grid as detailed in LU Standard S1-026 Topographical Surveys and Mapping; and • all CAD files supplied to the Employer is subject to a CAD compliance check based on the mandatory requires set out in S1037 and any non-compliances are rectified by the Contractor before being accepted by the Employer. 3) In accordance with clause 101 of the conditions of contract the Employer owns all drawings, CAD files and associated PDF’s generated from the model through all stages of the contract. The Employer issues all relevant LU CAD Standards to the Contractor. 4) The following guides and resources will be issued as appropriate: • LU Design Guides; and • LU Recourse DGNLIBS: Seed Files, LU Borders, Cells, Uni-Class Level Structure, etc. 5) Any available survey information and existing CAD files are provided by the Employer with the Task Order. 6) The Contractor submits a Drawing Schedule for each work package for acceptance by the Employer within 3 weeks of being issued a Task Order. 7) As a minimum the Contractor provides the following in advance of all design reviews and for the ‘construction’ and ‘as-built’ packages: • Hard Copy Drawings - 1 No. A3 set of colour paper plots; • All CAD Files compliant with the DGN file format (refer to S1-037); • Models; • Composite Models; • Drawing Definitions; • Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (PDF) to match all drawings definitions; • Master Document Index (PW Index Sheet). 8) The Contractor ensures compatibility with the following software: • Bentley Microstation v. 08.05.02.55 • Bentley Navigator v. 08.06.00.16 • Bentley Projectwise v. 08.09.03.70 • Bentley Interference v. 08.05.04.13 9) All standard images files are accepted by the Employer .i.e...
Drawing Requirements. The Contractor shall furnish to the Principal, two (2) copies of prints of each drawing and one electronic media drawing file of each drawing, configured according to conditions stipulated in Annex B (Clause 5.6.5.-5.6.7.).
