Driver Qualifications. A. Drivers must have a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License (or valid license from a contiguous state) appropriate to the type of vehicle they will be operating and at least 1 year of driving experience, including experience driving multi-passenger vehicles. B. Ensure drivers do not use drugs or alcohol at any time when it might affect a safety sensitive duty (including, but not limited to, within the 4 hours preceding driving), and if taking medications, must still be able to perform his/her duties in a safe manner. Any driver taking medications that may hinder performance must report such use to his/her supervisor, and not transport Agency Consumers C. Drivers must be at least nineteen (19) years of age and have completed all required training specified in Section 5.2 prior to HST work.
