DSL-Capable Loops Sample Clauses

DSL-Capable Loops. For each of the loop types described in Sections 9.2.2.10.1.1 through 9.2.2.10.1.2 below, CLEC will, at the time of ordering, notify SBC-AMERITECH as to the Power Spectral Density (PSD) mask of the technology CLEC the will deploy.
DSL-Capable Loops. Wire ADSL Capable Loop: A 2-Wire ADSL Capable Loop (“ADSL Capable Loop”) is a loop that supports the transmission of Asymmetrical Digital Subscriber Line technologies conforming to the spectral parameters identified in PACIFIC’s TP 76730, “ADSL Based Service Network Interface/Interconnection Specification,” dated January 1999, as it may be modified from time to time (“TP76730”). CLEC shall use ADSL Capable Loops in a manner that is consistent with TPs 76860 and 76730, which comply with current national standards (ANSI T1.413-1998) and which shall be modified to reflect any changes in national standards; provided, however, where multiple standards exist, PACIFIC shall adopt the standard(s) most compatible with its network. CLEC’s transmission rate over an ADSL Capable Loop shall not be limited, except as may be required in order to conform to the power and spectrum parameters set forth in TPs 76860 and 76730. Loop Qualification, the Selective Feeder Separation (“SFS”) spectrum management provisions and optional conditioning as described below are applicable to the 2-Wire ADSL Capable Loop.

The features, functions, and capabilities of the switch shall include the basic switching function of connecting lines to lines, lines to trunks, trunks to lines, and trunks to trunks. Local circuit switching includes all vertical features that the switch is capable of providing, including custom calling, custom local area signalling service features, and Centrex, as well as any technically feasible customized routing functions. 4.2.2 Notwithstanding BellSouth’s general duty to unbundle local circuit switching, BellSouth shall not be required to unbundle local circuit switching for ▇▇▇▇ when ▇▇▇▇: (1) serves an End User with four (4) or more voice-grade (DS0) equivalents or lines served by BellSouth in Zone 1 of one of the following MSAs: Atlanta, GA;
