Common use of Duration and Applicability Clause in Contracts

Duration and Applicability. These rules of conduct shall apply only with respect to the employees in the unit(s) or job classification(s) identified in the notice required by subparagraph (a) above; shall apply beginning on the date when the Union provides said notice; and shall continue only until the earliest of the following dates: (A) if the Union has not filed a petition for an election under subparagraphs (b)(iv) and (c) below, the date when the Union notifies the Employer that it is no longer seeking to represent the unit(s) or job classification(s) identified in said notice, or the date when the sixty (60) day period for filing such a petition elapses under subparagraph (b)(iv) below; (B) the date when the Union withdraws its petition for such an election; or (C) the date of such an election.
