Duration and Purpose. 1.01 The purpose of the Collective Agreement between The United Food and Commercial Workers Canada Union, Local No. 401 (UFCW) and the Employer (Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited.) is to maintain mutually satisfactory working relations between the Employer and its employees, establish and maintain rates of pay, and conditions of employment, to provide appropriate procedures for the prompt resolution of grievances and problems, and to recognize the mutual value of joint discussion, consultation, and negotiation.
