Common use of Duration of ERIP Clause in Contracts

Duration of ERIP. a) This Letter of Understanding shall only apply and be in existence for the duration of the Collective Agreement whose term shall be from December 16, 2011 to December 15, 2014. b) The ERIP will represent a one-time offer in each of 2012, 2013 and 2014 to encourage a voluntary acceptance by some employees who may wish to transition to early retirement. c) It is agreed and understood that this Letter of Understanding is for a specific and unique situation and, as such, is entered into without prejudice and precedent.
