Duration of Reemployment List Sample Clauses

The 'Duration of Reemployment List' clause defines the length of time that individuals remain eligible on a list for potential reemployment opportunities within an organization. Typically, this clause specifies a set period—such as one or two years—during which former employees, often those laid off or separated under certain conditions, may be considered for rehire before new candidates are sought. By establishing a clear timeframe for reemployment eligibility, the clause ensures fairness and transparency in the rehiring process and helps manage expectations for both the employer and former employees.
