During Work. During periods of extraordinary weather conditions or other emergencies, the Town Supervisor may direct that certain employees who perform non-essential services may leave work. An employee who is directed by the appropriate Department Head to leave work due to an emergency closing will be paid for the remainder of the employee’s normal workday at the employee’s regular rate of pay.
During Work. Any employee required by any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States of which the employee is a reserve member, e.g. National Guard, State Militia, etc. to render military service, shall be granted military leave subject to all applicable laws absent loss of benefit time.
During Work. 14. All Work shall be performed in accordance with reasonable engineering and environmental practices and in strict conformance with the approved plans, as may be amended, and all applicable sections of By‐law 2022‐0038 (REG‐ 1), as amended. 15. All Work shall be performed in such a manner that no ponding of water is caused on abutting lands and that adequate provisions are made to properly manage all surface stormwater drainage for the duration of the Work. 16. All environmental controls required pursuant to Schedule “C” of By‐law 2022‐0038 (REG‐1) (the “Environmental Controls”), including erosion control measures, shall be inspected at least once a week and after each Rainfall and/or Snow Melt Event to make any necessary repairs. Environmental Controls including ground water and well monitoring program shall be in accordance with Schedule “C” of By‐law 2022‐0038 (REG‐1). 17. All existing road ditches are to be maintained and kept clear of any obstruction or debris at all times. The Owner shall have its contractors clean the entrance road, ▇▇▇▇▇ Boulevard, on a daily basis to the satisfaction of the Town. Further, at the end of the importation activities and Work, the Owner, in consultation with the Town, will carry out such repairs to ▇▇▇▇▇ Boulevard as are reasonably necessary to restore it to the condition existing at the commencement of the operations contemplated by this Agreement. 18. The Owner agrees that no Work shall be permitted between the hours of 8:00pm and 7:00am, Monday to Saturday, at any time on Sunday and statutory holidays, or during or within 24 hours of the occurrence of a Rainfall and/or Snow Melt Event. 19. The Owner agrees that queueing of trucks shall not occur on any roads leading to or from receiving sties. The Owner agrees to handle all truck queuing on-site as necessary. 20. The Owner shall, or shall cause its project manager or contractor to, acknowledge receipt of complaints and attempt to address all reasonable complaints within a reasonable time. The Owner or its project manager intends to contact abutting neighbours to inform them of the Project prior to commencing Work, and to provide them with contact information of the Owner and its project manager to address concerns and complaints in an attempt to divert such complaints away from the Town. 21. During Work. 3.4.1.1 Apart from Performances, within a Call of three hours or more, there shall be a break of at least 15 minutes towards the middle of the Call. 3.4.1.2 Apart from Performances, meal breaks shall be not less than one hour and shall be taken at least once every 5 hours where reasonable and practicable.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours Solicitation of Union membership or collection or checking of dues will not be conducted during working time. The Company agrees not to discriminate in any way against any employee for Union activity, but such activity shall not be carried on during working time, except as specifically allowed by the provisions of this Agreement.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Day Work The Company shall structure the Project Working Hours to include one (1) half-hour rest break to be taken without deduction of pay by Employees working the Project Working Hours on any day, Monday to Friday.

  • Project Period The Project Period ("Project Period") is the time during which the Applicant will be conducting the Project. Unless this Investment Agreement is terminated earlier under Article 7 Termination, the Project Period commences on the Project Start Date and ends on the Project Completion Date.

  • Period of Work Work under this Agreement shall begin no sooner than the date on which this Agreement has been fully executed by the parties and approved by the Controller and the State Purchases Review Committee. Unless terminated earlier, this Agreement shall expire on the date set out on the first page of this Agreement, or at the completion and acceptance of all specified tasks, and delivery of all contracted products and services as defined in this Agreement, including performance of any warranty and/or maintenance agreements, whichever is the later date.
