Common use of Duties and Assignments Clause in Contracts

Duties and Assignments. It is understood and agreed that the President may reassign the Employee to other duties for which the Employee is professionally or otherwise qualified to perform, including under another job title, if it is in the interest of the College to do so. Submission of Grades and Return of College Property: Employee shall satisfactorily submit or account for all grades, reports, College equipment, keys, or other required items upon termination of employment. Availability of Funding: Employment and amount of compensation are expressly conditioned upon the availability of continued (1) federal funding, (2) external funding, and (3) adequate state appropriations and mill levy funding, and any change in or reduction of such funding or appropriations shall entitle the College to reduce Employee's salary or terminate employment in accordance with College Policies or the Collective Bargaining Agreement, depending on applicability.
