Duties and Responsibilities of PAR Panel. 1. To select Consulting Teachers. 2. To recommend retention, continued assistance, or dismissal of Referred teacher(s) to the Superintendent/Board. 3. To release from PAR a Consulting Teacher whose performance does not meet the expectations of the program. 4. To evaluate the impact of the PAR Program in order to improve the program and to submit recommendations to Federation and the Superintendent for improvement of the program. 5. To meet at least four (4) times annually to review the work of the Consulting Teachers and their caseloads. 6. To annually select a facilitator. The position shall rotate every year between an administrator and a teacher. 7. To make all of its decisions by consensus, if possible, or otherwise by majority vote.
