Early Consideration for Permanency. III.10.3.3.1 Members may receive early consideration for permanency in the second (2nd) year of the initial two (2) year term provided they have demonstrated (i) competence in the performance of duties and (ii) promise of continuing development as a librarian. III.10.3.3.2 The early permanency hearing process follows the regular permanency hearing process described in this Article with the addition of the use of external reviewers to assess (i) competence in the performance of duties, and (ii) promise of continuing development as a librarian. The views of external assessors will be sought according to the procedures in this Article.
