Common use of Early Notification Incentive Clause in Contracts

Early Notification Incentive. For the 2024-2025 school year, the Board shall pay an early notification incentive to teachers who send written notification to the Superintendent or Designee of their intention to retire or resign at the end of the 2024-2025 school year. For the 2024-2025 school year only, teachers notifying the school district by December 1, 2024 of the intention to retire or resign at the end of the 2024-2025 school year will receive a $500.00 stipend payable on the December 20, 2024 payroll. Teachers notifying the school district by February 1, 2025 of the intention to retire or resign at the end of the 2024-2025 school year will receive a $300.00 stipend payable at the end of the teacher’s current contract. Teachers notifying the school district by February 1, 2025 2022 of the intention to retire or resign at the end of the 20242021-2025 2022 school year will receive a $300.00 stipend payable at the end of the teacher’s current contract. Teachers notifying the school district by February 1, 2025 2017 of the intention to retire or resign at the end of the 20242016-2025 17 school year will receive a $300.00 stipend payable at the end of the teacher’s current contract.
