Common use of EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE Clause in Contracts

EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE. Nothing in this Agreement shall oblige the Publisher to publish any article submitted to the Publisher by a Qualifying Author, an Institution or the Organisation. The Organisation acknowledges that the selection of material via peer review to be published in an Open Select Journal is entirely at the discretion of the Publisher and/or the editors or proprietors of the Open Select Journal and the Organisation waives any claim it may have against the Publisher in the event that the Publisher or its editors decline to publish any material (or part thereof) submitted by a Qualifying Author, an Institution or the Organisation.
