Effect; Effective Date Clause Samples
The 'Effect; Effective Date' clause establishes when the terms of an agreement become legally binding and enforceable. It typically specifies a particular date—either the date of signing or another agreed-upon date—on which the contract's rights and obligations commence. This clause ensures that all parties are clear about when their responsibilities and benefits under the agreement begin, thereby preventing disputes over the timing of contractual obligations.
