Common use of Effect of Invalidity Clause in Contracts

Effect of Invalidity. This Agreement shall be subject to all future and present applicable federal and state laws. Should any provision or provisions become unlawful by virtue of the declaration of any court of competent jurisdiction, such action shall not invalidate the entire Agreement. Any provisions of this Agreement not declared invalid shall remain in full force and effect for the life of the Agreement. If any provision is held invalid, the parties hereto shall enter into collective bargaining negotiations for the purpose of arriving at a mutually satisfactory replacement for such provision.
