Common use of Effect of Rejection Clause in Contracts

Effect of Rejection. In the event that the Owner determines that any Materials and Equipment are defective or otherwise unsatisfactory and rejects them after title has passed to the Owner and/or the City, the Owner and/or the Owner’s Representative will Notify the Contractor of the same in writing and title to all such Materials and Equipment shall be deemed to have been transferred back to the Contractor as of the date set forth in such Notice.
