Common use of Effect of Sale, Conveyance or Assignment Clause in Contracts

Effect of Sale, Conveyance or Assignment. Provided that Tenant's Security Deposit is transferred to Landlord's successor, a sale, conveyance or assignment of the Landlord's interest in the Building shall operate to release Landlord from liability from and after the effective date thereof upon all of the covenants, terms and conditions of this Lease, express or implied, except as such may relate to the period prior to such effective date, and Tenant shall thereafter rook solely to Landlord's successor-in-interest in and to this Lease. This Lease shall not be affected by any such sale, conveyance or assignment, and Tenant shall attorn to Landlord's successor-in-interest thereunder.
