Common use of Effective Communication Clause in Contracts

Effective Communication. SFHMC shall provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services, including qualified interpreters, to Patients and Companions who are deaf or hard of hearing where necessary to ensure effective communication or an equal opportunity to participate fully in the benefits, activities, programs and services provided by SFHMC in a timely manner and in such a way as to protect the privacy and independence of the individual.
