Common use of Effective Date of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Effective Date of Benefits. A Subscriber is entitled to the benefits of this Agreement upon the effective date of cover- age. The effective date will be assigned by Blue Shield and is the later of the following dates: 1) on the first day of the month fol- lowing the date a properly completed appli- cation is received, and if underwriting is required when approved, by Blue Shield; or
