Effective Date of Layoff. A layoff may not become effective earlier than forty-five (45) days after the Board has approved the Superintendent's recommendation for a reduction in force.
Effective Date of Layoff. A layoff shall be effective thirty (30) calendar days after notice is mailed to the employee, unless a later effective date is stated in the notice. An appeal shall not modify the effective date provided, however, that where an appeal is successful and the layoff is nullified, the employee shall be provided salary and benefits as if there was not a layoff.

  • EFFECTIVE DATE OF CONTRACT The contract shall come into effect on the date of signatures of both the parties on the contract and shall remain valid until the completion of the obligation of the parties under the contract. The deliveries and supplies and performance of the services shall commence from the effective date of the contract.
